Mitch Allen is the founder and president of the Northeast Ohio-based media company Mimi Vanderhaven, which includes the 285,000-circulation Mimi Magazine and the Medina Weekly newspaper.

Prior to launching Mimi in 2003, Mitch concluded a 20-year daily newspaper career as the Vice President of Advertising and Marketing with the Akron (OH) Beacon Journal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and an MBA from Columbus State University in his hometown of Columbus, Georgia.

He and his wife, Suzanne, live in Fairlawn, Ohio.
