Imani Scruggs is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. He currently works as a co-facilitator for Alchemy in addition to his role as a 4-H Program Coordinator for Ohio State Extension.
As a 4-H Program Coordinator, he participates in the research, planning, and implementation of community-based programs and learning activities. While Imani focuses primarily on teaching hands-on STEM projects to elementary and middle school students, he also runs programs in financial literacy, drug prevention, and bullying prevention.
Imani participated in the Alchemy program from 6th to 12th grade and became a mentor for many of the younger students shortly after he graduated college. He began co-facilitating in 2018. He has just recently started working as the primary facilitator and looks forward to continuing to expand his role within Alchemy in the future.
